Transferring Contacts from Android mobile to Windows mobile through CSV File - Issue - Solution

Hi

First synchronize Android contacts to Gmail.

Now you have two options

1. You are OK with taking all your Gmail contacts too to your phone

In this case just add your Gmail account to your phone and sync.

2. You need only the exported contact from old Phone

Then from Gmail select only the exported contact group and exported to CSV format.
First in Outlook format and then in Gmail format, so that you will get two CSV File.

Now open both CSV Files. We are going to correct Outlook format CSV file referring Gmail CSV file.
In the Outlook format file check the first 6 columns to check if the names have come properly.
If not delete the contents for these columns and copy paste from Gmail format CSV file.

Next check at the phone numbers if those have come in proper columns.
Some times mobile numbers would have come in the notes columns in Outlook format CSV File.
Delete this. Copy the phone numbers from Gmail CSV files (Column names : Phone 1 - Value, Phone 2 - Value, Phone 3 - Value) to Outlook CSV (Column names : Primary Phone, Work Phone, Mobile, etc).

You may verify the email addresses too.

Now Save the Outlook CSV file.

Open your Microsoft account(outlook.com or in live.com).
Go to People Tab.
Import the contacts from File

Now add the Microsoft account to your mobile and Sync contacts
